Whether it's being your trainer, being a mom, being your meal planner, being a business owner, or even a wife that you can relate.. I want to set the example. I want to make sure that you see HIM through me.
I asked the doctor a few days ago, "If the structure of Gabe's ear is the same in his left ear.. will you still operate?" His response was VERY clear... "Yes, I still want him to hear."
Gabe's doctor has no relationship with him. Whether or not Gabe hears has no affect on him but, he is willing to do whatever it takes.
I believe if we were to ask Jesus as HARD as it was for HIM to bare the cross.. HE would do it again, again, and AGAIN! The nails, thorns, blood... none of that would have mattered because HE loves us!
My relationship with Christ is far from a religion. It is by far the best relationship you will ever have. I want you to change, walk, follow HIM and, that's my job as a believer. You have to do the work, you have to Repent, you have to pick up your cross, and you have to follow Him.
One might ask..
"What does Repent mean?"
It's a change of mind/or turning away from evil in regards to sin.
BUT.. What does repentance look like?
John the Baptist stated in Luke 3:8-14:
"Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
“What should we do then?” the crowd asked.
John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same."
Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?”
“Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them.
Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?
He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.”
When I first came to Christ it was nothing short of easy. But, the peace.. the unexplainable joy.. the strength..
"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
Changing your mind comes with a cost. A cost that can be so scary, so new.. but HE is so Worthy!
As a wife my role is to follow my husband as he follows the Lord. As a mother my role is to raise my babies according to God's complete standard. As a trainer/meal planner my role is to help you take care of the body that God gave you. Honestly, as a blogger I am learning that my role is to try and get you to turn to HIM.

His grace is sufficient.
