Right when you walk in our house there is a bible verse on the wall that states:
My morning routine consist of feeding solids now, changing diapers, changing clothes (taking on one baby at a time! lol), cleaning house, training clients via zoom, working out by running the stairs, cleaning bottles, checking in with client's results (measurements, meal plans, etc..), drinking coffee, taking my vitamins (especially my "Slay the Day" ones!!), vacuuming, lighting candles, opening blinds, and worshipping!
When I worship the twins stop what they are doing (which is usually making noises or, playing with toys!). They are extremely quiet and stare at mommy while I lift my hands in worship. When I lift my hands they look up.
I am training them to praise a God in not only the ups but, also the downs. I am training them to know a God that I serve that is always with us. I am training them to live for Him and not of this world.
Worship starts my day off right! (The twins can get a little crazy! And, also the business can get a little crazy!) I have found that the very best way to conquer my day is by putting first things first. By putting God at the very beginning of my day, I have found that no matter what may come my way I am reminded that I always have Him on my side.
Sometimes the worship songs that I would listen too when I would be going through a tough time come on. I just smile. These are the moments that I have prayed for.
