I have always worn hats. I think they are an easy way of dressing cute but, quickly. With twins you have to be quick. Hats have been my go-to for the past 5 years! This morning I had to do a quick run to the store and of course I wore my hat! I was purchasing my groceries and, my balance was $7.34. (Of course I wouldn't forget that!) My card wasn't working and, my first instinct was I don't have any cash on hand nor, another card on hand to purchase my things. The customer in the back of me was upset and decided to switch lines. At that moment, my first instinct was to cry.
I was nervous, scared, embarrassed, you name it...
Until someone decided to step in and take care of it. It was definitely Faith in Action which is stated on my hat. That is how God works in our lives. We get scared on how things will work out and, our first instinct is too cry or, get upset. Then, God steps in and takes care of it. God had already took care of this before it even began.
I remember the cashier stating "things like this don't happen often... usually only around the holidays" but, that's also just it! God will not always bless you when you expect it (for instance the holidays..) but, a time when you least expect it.
Today I learned four things:
1) Never underestimate the power of God and, that He is truly with you always!
2) Always carry emergency cash on hand
3) Things may go a little crazy but, you got this momma!
3) Keep wearing my Hat (:
