Alex and I were watching The NCAA Women's Basketball championship game a few weeks ago. After South Carolina had won the players and coaches were interviewed and,
the absolute first thing that everyone would say after winning is
"First, I would like to give glory to God."
Winning is a feeling like no other.
But... What if we do not win?
What if we made it to the championship game and didn't come out winning?
Do we thank God for the journey for making it that far?
Do we still feel the same and, would still want to give God glory?
My biggest scare lied within trying to focus on passing 32 weeks of my pregnancy.
The 32nd week of pregnancy came with a fight.
It was heavy.
There was no sleep.
It was a different type of fight.
Truth is I am not in the winning season of my life right now.
Everything that I wanted to go right in the past few days went left.
It has been a whirlwind of events.
Is it painful?
Absolutely.
Does it remind me of the pain that I felt at these exact moments of despair two years ago?
Absolutely.
But what I know now than that I had known two years ago is that everything lies in
His dominion.
The tests.
The testimonies.
The triumphs...
The hardships.
His glory still reigns.
We are praising God in this season.
No matter the circumstances.
His glory still reigns.
Though He slay me; yet will I trust in Him.
Job 13:15
Micah Paul Richard made his grand appearance on April 15th at 8:37pm.
We made it to 33 weeks and 5 days!
With a weight of only 3lbs 15oz he is one of the strongest little boys that I know.
