Isaiah 26:3

The other afternoon, as I dropped Gabe off at yet another new therapy session, he hesitated and cried a little.

We've been making many changes in his therapies lately as I try to find the best fit for him. At only 4 years old, he trusts me so much.

Though he didn't want to go in, he put on his backpack and walked in without crying when the therapist arrived.

Kids are such a blessing to learn from.

Gabe is teaching me how to trust.

I know I need to start trusting God as much as Gabe trusts me.

It's only human to believe we can fix every problem ourselves, without entrusting them to God.

I am reminded of Hannah in the Bible, who continuously chose to trust God and lean not on her own understanding.

Though her situation to conceive had not changed, her heart did.

Even in the disappointment He is still Faithful.

And, the Lord remembered her.

How patient God has been with me even when I doubted Him.

What a good, good Father He really is.

It all starts with us, how much are we willing to give to Him?

Putting our total, complete trust in Him to get through,

coming into His presence empty-handed,

giving everything to Him will change us forever.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
